Capital Group, one of the largest and oldest investment companies in the US with over $3 trillion dollars in assets under management, I was responsible for brand governance, strategy and major branding and design projects across Capital Group and its entities.

OLV campaign to launch Capital Group in Canada - 1 of 3 - 15 sec spots

Working with large teams of UI, UX, developers and authoring teams, we created new standards across the Capital Group websites in North America, Europe and Asia, bringing forward accessibility standards and best practices to suit all users. Everything from adding new break points, new components, and overall behaviours of the site were improved.
Managing their ever-evolving brand style guide with content in excess of 300 pages and growing, I've personally been responsible for over 100 of those pages covering content such as photography, video, digital colour palettes, illustration, and facilitating specific content for international markets.
Reviewing social media best practices and rethinking how posts are designed and interacted with. The sample on the left (above on mobile), a standard post, difficult to digest, and not easy to understand at a glance. The revised on the right (below on mobile), uses the same information, but makes it far more engaging and uses the data to tell the story. This overall was made to all their social media practices across all platforms.
Furthermore, using those charts where animation may not be the best course for all platforms, repurposing the chart for a carousel and bookending the data with photography showing volatility with protection adds additional layers of depth rather than just showing a graph alone.
Capital Group is a global company with over 8,000 associates in over 32 offices and some with regional specific branding. The need to have a Japanese variants of the logo was growing. Not only did we facilitate the development, of the logo variant, but with it, type styles and region specific accessibility standards.
Working with the Capital Group sub-entity, Private Client Services, their ultra-high net worth division, we re-developed their portal for a better experience for investors to get the information they needed with ease and as few steps as possible. Applying the unique brand attributes, this elegant design speaks to its very specific audience while paying homage to the Capital Group parent brand.
